Arc 2 opening Missions

Now that Arc 2 has officially begun, the Resistance's activities can expand in scope. Below is four separate missions your characters may go on. All four offer valuable information or resources to the Resistance. As per mission rules, only 3 characters are allowed for each. Pick which best suits your character's strengths.

Announce which character(s) is going on which mission in a reply below. If needed, sortie limits can be expanded.

For those unfamiliar with the mission types: What is a mission?

Mission 1: Lakeside Survivors (Complete)
Type: Diplomacy
Run by: Ransac

Scouts have spotted signs of survivors from the Lakeside Village making their way to the mountains. Brycen has ordered their protection and extends an invitation of refuge within Hope Base. Set out and rendezvous with them. Some of them may have a story to tell.

Participants: James, Leon, Marcus

Mission 2: Daggers in the dark (Full - Cancelled due to inactivity)
Type: Scout
Run by: Usam (Primary)/Ransac (Secondary)

Brycen wishes to follow up on the recovered journals and their suggestions of a cult worshiping the demons as gods. If it exists, it is inevitable that the Resistance will clash with them. Agents in a nearby village are reporting strange individuals coming and going. Meet up with these agents and seek any information you can find on this group.

Participants: Valerie, Axel, and Blair

No mobile suits allowed for this mission.

Mission 3: Going Fishing (Full - Cancelled due to inactivity)
Type: Treasure Seek
Run by: Usam

On the other side of the mountains is a large lake. Jonah suspects something is hidden underneath the lake and has issued orders for Haro to construct mobile suits capable of operating underwater to explore it. Do treasures or dangers await?

Participants: Athena, Arthur, and Graham.

Mission 4: Guard Duty (Full - Cancelled due to inactivity)
Type: Combat
Run by: Probably cycling.

With so many pilots and agents away from Hope Base, personnel available for patrols have been reduced to a mere handful. A small group is being organized to fill in patrols until the others return. Be on your guard, the enemy has been snooping around the mountains lately.

Participants: Jonas Wond, Kaleb, and Alan.

Diplomacy: James

James is the type who wishes to protect others. It's only natural he sortie on a mission like this.

Scout: Valerie

Who better to send than the woman who grew up sneaking around the countryside and villages? She knows how to maneuver around shady groups.

Treasure Seek: Arthur

Scouting: Axel

Axel knows the wilderness.  As a practiced bowman and a hardy survivor, he is well suited for a reconnaissance mission.

Treasure Seek: Athena/Atlas

Athena is not as good at survival and reconnaissance as Axel, and Atlas is far too intimidating and easily provoked a presence for a diplomatic mission.  This way, she can still do some good, if only as an escort for the underwater search party.

Wing can have the aquatic mission Slot.  I will be sending Leon on diplomacy, and Jonas will go on scouting I guess.

Considering Graham's GM is now built to be fully amphibious was planning on sending him under water.

But Usam nabbed the last place so I'm putting Graham on scouting.

Marcus: Diplomatic​ Team

Marcus hates guard duty thinking it's mostly boring work and honestly wants to help the refugees like when the rebels saved him.

Blair will go on guard duty.

After the events of the underwater Vault and witnessing the destruction of the village, Blair would be too angry, too gung-ho to be permitted to go on a mission where his anger could compromise the goal. Keeping him near the base will keep him out of the way, give him something to do, and curb his anger by getting him to prioritize the safety of the civilians living in the base.

Alan will be reporting for guard duty. Looks like he'll be thanking the rebels later as he will have to go through everything to with the training he's had from his late master.

If people in the Scout or Guard Duty thread do not get posting, or enter a post period, penalties will be applied and the threads cancelled until an active group can be rallied. Those who had posted at least twice or made active effort to contribute to a thread will receive compensation for their characters.
