Leon is a slightly larger then average person, with above average muscle build from his time working on various pieces of equipment and tools. Leon has short dirty blond hair and blue eyes. He has a deep tanned skin, from his time working in outdoors often, and a few scars, though not heavily scarred. Leon is often seen dressed in a muscle shirt, with cargo pants, along with a tool belt with multiple tools of various types on it.
Personality:
Leon is a big man, both in size and in his strength, and uses this to his advantage, though not in a cruel way. Leon feels that to use his strength to push others around would be wrong, and feels this is a matter of honor for him. His strength does come in handy in his work around machines. Leon is both a technician and an inventor of machines, always looking for ways to improve on existing technology, or create new technology.
When Leon gets a new idea for an invention into his head, that becomes the new thing he obsesses over for days, dropping any other thing he is working on, that to him is unimportant compared to his new idea. This has gotten him into trouble on many occasions. Leon will spend days and nights working on this new project, getting little in the way of sleep when working.
Leon is a very disorderly in most things, not able to keep an area he owns clean for any period of time at all. This has driven others around him crazy, and has even scared off possible girl friends. One other thing that also causes trouble for others is, Leon can't hold his liquor at all. If he even drinks a little, he gets drunk. Leon can't cook to save his life, and it has been rumored that he has even burned water, though people scoff at that one.

From an early age Leon was a creative thinker, using various items around the house and town to help make the lives of the people better. Though they were not what would be considered advanced technology by any sense of the term, they were the beginnings of greater and greater designs. Leon kept on improving his designs as he grew up, discovering new ways to do things. Unfortunately, his ideas began to attract attention of the worst sort.
On the day of Leon's biggest unveiling of his newest invention, a steam engine, the enemies that he would know later to be called the Demons appeared. Drawn by the use of the steam engine, they attacked without warning and without mercy. Leon was the only survivor of the attack, taking a glancing hit to the head by flying debris from an explosion. Leon would later be found unconscious by resistance scouts looking for survivors.
Once Leon awoke at the resistance base, Leon was dismayed to learn the deaths of his people. When he had recovered, he was amazed to learn about the units known as mobile suits, and took to learning from the technical manuals that had been found. Drawing from his prior knowledge of mechanics, Leon began to assimilate the new lessons before him and proved a quick learner. In time he was even included in the maintenance teams trying to rebuild damaged machines. During his free time, he took to drawing designs for new mobile suits, wistfully dreaming of the day when they could actually be built.

Essentially their will to win or survive becomes so strong that they push their abilities to the maximum. Requiring a roll of 15 or higher, if successful, all modifiers and critical range are increased by 1 for the remainder of the battle. If the roll fails, another may be attempted after the next 2 turns.
