Appearance:
Valerie's appearance has received some moderate changes since she first joined The Resistance. She has grown taller by about an inch, now standing at an impressive five feet and seven inches tall. Her hair has grown out even longer, falling past her waist and getting to the point that she has started tucking it into her clothing. Her hair has also begun to take on a noticeable dark red coloring. She refuses to cut her hair despite its extreme length, citing it as one of her defining features. She retains her athletic musculature thanks to consistent physical training.
Valerie still delights in showing off her figure and beauty, and so she still retains her preference for low cut tops and short sleeves. However she has begun wearing relatively tame T-shirts around the base. Her favorite style as of late is a black and red style shirt. She still retains her penchant for wearing shorts or pants cut along the leg for improved flexibility in case she has to fight. Beyond her typical attire, she has also begun wearing a necklace with a blue metallic centerpiece. The necklace is part of a pair and was fashioned from materiel collected from James' GM.
When deployed on missions, Valerie wears a customized red and black pilot suit. Like most pilot suits, the outfit is armored in key locations such as the chest, shoulders, and calves to protect the pilot should the cockpit become compromised or if the pilot is attacked outside of their mobile suit.
Personality:
Valerie's overall personality since joining The Resistance has changed in subtle ways. She is still the same blunt, outspoken, and arrogance bordering self confidant young woman as before. But thanks to forming personal connections to those around her, Valerie has begun to reign in the harsher aspects of her personality.
Though still just as vain as before, her confidence in her looks has begun to solidify into something more secure and less hostile. She no longer has to be the most beautiful woman in the room because she knows she already is. In a strange way, this has actually enabled her to relax her stance around others. She has become less brash about lording her beauty over others and instead expresses a more casual confidence. Any insults aimed against her appearance are easily swept aside, though she may still provide a quick retort in response.
Like confidence in her beauty, Valerie's ego remains as supersized as ever, perhaps even more so now that she has firmly established herself as a skilled pilot and dangerous asset on the battlefield. However she is no longer as harsh towards others questioning her reputation or ability as before, now instead seeing it as more of a challenge than an insult. When Valerie makes a boast, she fully intends to back it up.
Valerie still retains her talents for persuasion and manipulation, but she has become less likely to manipulate those around her and in some cases she has actively begun encouraging self improvement in others. She still has issues with trusting others. Years of surviving on her own and often being hunted had made distrust a natural instinct. However thanks to certain influences she has begun to rectify this issue. She is now, if reluctantly, willing to open up to others.

Relationships
- James Torian: Though they started off on the wrong foot at first, James has become one of Valerie's most consistent companions. His refusal to judge her by her past, of which many a slanderous rumor both true and false, and treat her as a genuine comrade endeared the young man to her. She found amusement in teasing James once it became clear he was awkward with women and would often playfully tease him just for his flustered reactions. At the same time, she also began helping James with dealing with his personal issues, namely his survivors guilt and occasional depressive episodes. Through these interactions the pair became close, acting as confidantes for each other. At some point Valerie began to realize her feelings for James were becoming more than just those felt between friends or comrades. Eventually, during one interaction where the two discussed their doubts and concerns about the future, she expressed these feelings with a kiss. After The Siege, the two officially entered a relationship.
- Arthur Blaze: Arthur was one of Valerie's first and certainly the most stalwart of companions. Though originally she used him merely as a pawn for her own survival, his continued loyalty and dedication in earning her friendship eventually wore down her personal walls. Alarmed that she had started to consider someone a friend, Valerie abandoned him and it wasn't until his joining The Resistance that they saw each other again. When Arthur expressed no hard feelings over her actions, she reluctantly allowed the young man to accompany her as a friend. Though he often wears on her nerves with his theatrical persona and actions, Valerie secretly appreciates his loyalty and friendship.
- Serene Salisnana: Valerie has not interacted often with Serene, but the few times they have met have had a profound effect on her. Having spent her entire life being chased and hated, Serene's unadulterated idolization of Valerie is completely foreign to her and as a result she has no idea how to process it. In spite of Valerie's own colossal ego, she has never actually and honestly been held in such high esteem by someone else before. In most cases, this leaves Valerie blatantly speechless as she struggles to cope with the new experience. Occasionally, Valerie rallies herself enough to awkwardly attempt to encourage her.
