External Equipment:
- External equipment grant a variety of benefits, though rarely in terms of direct offensive power.
- Most external equipment come with their own durability, and thus can be destroyed similar to shields and weaponry.
- External equipment prices very based on weight, value, and the strength of their benefits.
- True to the name, external equipment is primarily equipped outside of the mobile suit's central systems. As such, it's easy to swap them out between deployments.
- There is no specific limit to the amount of external equipment a mobile suit can have, but weight capacity must be kept in mind.
- Unless otherwise specified, most external equipment cannot stack on top of one another; one type of backpack cannot be equipped on top of another, and multiple types of external armor cannot be equipped.
Backpacks:
- Parachute Pack
Weight: +5
Effect: Allows a mobile suit to deploy from high altitudes without flight capability by employing multiple parachutes and thrusters for a controlled aerial descent. Ejected upon landing.
Cost: 200 x tier - Weapon Container
Weight: Varies
Effect: The Weapon Container allows a mobile suit to carry extra ammunition and weaponry for itself or teammates. The Weapon Container has a weight capacity of +10 and can carry up to three weapons and three packs of ammo; its components must be determined before deployment, and must be weapons owned by or granted to the user. As an action the user or an ally can draw a weapon from the weapon container. The user cannot Charge, Disengage, or take flight as long as the Weapon Container is equipped. It can be ejected as a free action.
Cost: 200 x tier - External Auxiliary Reactor
Weight: +6
Effect: Acts as an independent reactor for beam weapons, somewhat improving their practicality and output. Beam weapons that cannot normally recharge are instead given a 2-round recharge time while connected to this reactor. Beam weapons that can recharge or reload independently are instead given +20 base damage and +1 maximum charges. Can only be connected to handheld ranged beam weapons with singular (1H or 2H) handling. The beam weapon it is connected to can only be changed between deployments, not during combat.
Cost: 325 x tier - Sub Arm Backpack
A specialized backpack that is equipped with two sub arms, which not only hold shields for defense, but can also retrieve spare weapons and ammunition equipped in spots the main arms are unable to reach.
Location: Backpack
Weight: 3
Bonuses- Can carry up to two medium handheld shields. Shield weight still applies. Cannot be used to attack.
- Can perform one Draw/Store action free per turn. Requires at least one sub arm to be open.
Tactical:
- Heat Cloak
Weight: +1
Effect: Mobile suit begins combat at long range and in Stealth. The MS cannot be detected until they attack. The mobile suit is considered stationary and cannot benefit from Speed while using the Heat Cloak. Cloak is discarded once Stealth fails. Ineffective while flying.
Stealth: Every round the enemy rolls Perception and if they score 14 or higher, Stealth fails. While Stealth is active, the MS has +2 Accuracy and +1 Critical Range for each attack. The enemy may still attempt to attack a hidden opponent, but suffer a -4 accuracy while doing so and can only attempt an attack if they were the target of an attack from the hidden MS that same round. Stealth fails if the enemy lands a hit.

Airborne Warning And Control System
Special equipment and a large radome installed onto the back that greatly enhances a flying MS' sensor range for improved reconnaissance and early detection.

Weight: 4
Effect: +2 Perception to pilot, +1 Aim to pilot and all allies against detected hostiles.
Restriction: Flight capable MS only.
Cost: 275 x tier
Movement/Terrain:
- Back Hover Unit
A large, high output equipment mounted on the rear waist that allows for greater movement while on land.
Location: Back/Waist
Weight: 4
Effect: Grants the Hover ability.
Hover: The mobile suit can hover across surfaces, whether with high output thrusters or other equipment. Machines with the Hover ability gain a +2 bonus to Movement Actions. Additionally, Heavy machines have their base evasion rating increased by 2.
Cost: 300 x tier - Astray-Type Flight Pack
Weight: +6
Effect: Grants the Jump ability. The mobile suit can leap high into the air. While airborne, the mobile suit is treated as flying. Jump lasts for two rounds, after which the machine returns to the ground and suffers a -1 Evasion Rating until the next turn. Jump has a cool down of 2 turns.
Cost: 300 x MS tier - (+) EF-24R Flight Rotor Shrike
An upgrade to the Astray-Type Flight Pack. When equipped the Astray-Type Flight Pack's stats and effects are changed as follows:- Weight: +10
- Effect: Grants +1 Speed and Flight. Incompatible with heavy mobile suits, transformation, and offers no benefits to flight-capable mobile suits.
After purchase the Astray-Type Flight Pack + Rotor Shrike are treated as a single external upgrade. Replacements, repairs, and sales use the combined cost of both upgrades.
Cost: 200 x MS tier
Sledge
Weight: 7 (Does not count to weight capacity while in use)
Effect: This jet-ski functions essentially as a snowboard scaled to the size of mobile suits. Grants +2 Speed and ignores any terrain penalties while in Dusty terrain. Can once per turn can perform a move action as a free action. Can be ejected as a free action.
Cost: 250 x tier- External Fuel Tanks (Locked until Tier 6)
Weight: +4 (2/2)
Effect: +1 Speed for the first four turns a mobile suit is deployed (two turns per tank). As a free action the user can burn one round's worth of fuel to gain benefits as if they used the active of the Enlarged Fuel Tank upgrade. This does not stack with the Enlarged Fuel Tank nor does it count against the maximum number of times one can use the Enlarged Fuel Tank. Once empty the External Fuel Tanks can be ejected as a free action, negating their weight cost. Can have up to two pairs of External Fuel Tanks equipped.
