  Mobile suits use automated computer correction systems to adjust for the blurred image of a minovski particle battlefield, and this technology is designed to approximate targets to the closest known mobile suit. Because of this, if a new Zaku or a new Dom is designed, a targeting computer will still read the target as a Zaku or a Dom. The Katarl however, uses such a heavy modification of the Gelgoog frame that it will not come up with any matches on targeting computers, making it an unknown blob on a pilots visual screen. In addition to this feature, the Katarl uses a pair of technologies that make it nearly invisible to conventional sensors. Two 'wings' on the mobile suits back are actually tiny minovski particle emitters, allowing it to broadcast its own M-particle cloud without the assistance of a base ship. Further, the Katarl is painted in a radar absorptive black paint. For all intents and purposes, in space or on Earth at night, the Katarl is invisible.
