This remains a work in progress. Certain details are subject to change and adjustment.
Tune Ups:
- Tune Ups increase a chosen stat by +1.
- A mobile suit can have a maximum number of Tune Ups equal to its Tier-1. Half-tier suits round up.
- Tuning Up costs 150 x Tier. Once a stat has been Tuned Up equal to half the Mobile Suit's tier, the cost doubles to 300 x Tier.
- Innate bonuses on a Mobile Suit count as Tune Ups for the purposes of cost and maximum number of Tune Ups
Core Upgrades:
- Core upgrades come with a +1 boost to a given stat and an additional active function.
- There is no cap to stats gained from Core Upgrades.
- Core upgrades cost a universal price of 200 x Tier
- Core upgrades are equipped to certain parts of the mobile suit: Head, arms, legs, back, torso, internals and systems. You can only have two upgrades installed per part. Some upgrades may equip to multiple parts of the mobile suit.
- Unless otherwise stated, you cannot stack multiple copies of any given core upgrade.
Specialty Upgrades:
- Specialty upgrades rarely grant direct bonuses to offensive stats, instead offering unique and specialized bonuses depending on terrain and combat methods.
- Specialty Upgrades cost a universal price of 175 x Tier
- A Mobile Suit can have up to four separate specialty upgrades installed onto a single mobile suit.
External Equipment:
- External equipment grant a variety of benefits, though rarely in terms of direct offensive power.
- Most external equipment come with their own durability, and thus can be destroyed similar to shields and weaponry.
- External equipment prices very based on weight, value, and the strength of their benefits.
- True to the name, external equipment is primarily equipped outside of the mobile suit's central systems. As such, it's easy to swap them out between deployments.
- There is no specific limit to the amount of external equipment a mobile suit can have, but weight capacity must be kept in mind.
- Unless otherwise specified, most external equipment cannot stack on top of one another; one type of backpack cannot be equipped on top of another, and multiple types of external armor cannot be equipped.
Armor Upgrades:
- Armor upgrades change out the composition of your mobile suits armor, granting various effects based on the material and the technologies equipped.
- Due to differences in structure and technology, unless otherwise noted a Mobile Suit cannot have multiple armor types equipped.
- To change a Mobile Suit's armor means to essentially rebuild its outer layer and certain inner works from scratch. Thus you can only change your armor type every three deployments at most.
- In addition to time, there is also the matter of resources and materials. If your Mobile Suit has already been equipped with a non-stacking armor upgrade, you must pay half the price of the original upgrade in addition to the price of your new armor type.
