The Alaya-Vijnana system consists of two parts: one part is installed in the mobile weapon, and the other part is implanted into the pilot’s spine. After the implantation, the person has a protrusion on the back for physical connection to the Alaya-Vijnana interface in the mobile weapon’s cockpit. The Alaya-Vijnana System creates a pseudo-brain lobe in the pilot's body using nanomachines, allowing the pilot's brain to directly process mobile suit data fed through the physical connection. As the pseudo-brain lobe also governs spatial awareness, the pilot's spatial awareness is enhanced. The more implants a pilot has, the higher the information transfer rate through the system. The system also allows the pilot (even illiterate ones) to operate the mobile weapon without requiring instructions or reading a manual.

Unshackled Demon (Mastery Required): An ability granted to users of the Alaya-Vijnana System who are piloting one of the 72 Gundam Frames. By removing system limiters, the Alaya-Vijnana System can operate at full power and unshackle the performance of the Gundam, doubling the modifiers granted by the system for one battle. However, with each use the user sacrifices part of their body due to damage to the nervous system and it can only be used as many times as the user has implants before death. One implant means the system will kill them after one use, two means two uses, and three enables three uses before death. Use of body parts are temporarily regained while using the system.

- Wrench Mace
A replacement for the original mace after it was lost during the atmospheric entry battle, it has the nickname 'Wrench Mace'. Besides functioning as an excellent striking weapon, the front portion of the wrench mace can open up and clamp onto an enemy unit tightly. A special chainsaw hidden in the bulbous front portion of the mace can then slice apart the enemy unit. Used by the 5th Form Ground Type onwards, and can be stored on the backpack arm when not in use. - Long Sword
A mobile suit-use sword shaped like a katana, it is easy to handle due to its light weight, and shows its superiority during localized attacks.
