Money is earned either through completing missions or battling in the arena.
A solo thread is exactly that, a one member thread where you can draft a short story using your character(s). If you want, other people may join, turning it into a group thread, or you may use the characters of other members (with their permission!). Below are the rules for posting a solo thread.
Each solo thread or post (in case of extended narrative) is worth 200 credits x the current tier available in the armory. The credits are evenly divided among all participating characters. However you may choose to give the full amount to a single character if you so wish, so long as they are the focus character. If external characters are used, meaning those not created by yourself, they receive 25% of the earnings for the thread, divided as evenly as possible amongst them. This 25% total is separate and does not subtract from the main total.
A dialogue thread is similar to a solo thread, except it requires a minimum of two characters from different members. Both characters will be controlled by their respective owner and the characters will commence with basic interaction. More than one character from each member can participate in a dialogue thread, but there must be at least one from two different members. No more than two characters from the same member can participate in a dialogue thread.
The kind of interaction is up to the individuals, it could be friendly or hostile. A dialogue thread is treated as complete when it has reached a kind of conclusion to whatever the interaction is.
Characters who participate in a dialogue thread will receive 200 credits x current tier. Unlike a solo thread, it is not divided or diminished by the number of characters. Like solo threads, characters are restricted to one dialogue a week. Though it does not share a restriction with solo threads. However, characters who only engage with the same individual(s) multiple times (more than twice in a row) will receive only 100 credits x tier, so as to encourage wider interaction.
Social threads are open access threads meant for a much wider cast of characters to interact than is usually tolerated for a Dialogue Thread. While they are free to join, most social threads will advise at least one topic to draw upon for the sake of initiating conversation. Social threads have no significant requirements, and for the most part should be considered a more open version of a Dialogue Thread. The difference is that it will end when the moderator hosting decides to end it or when characters start to exit the thread of their own volition.
Social Threads may only be hosted by Admins or, with admin consent, Moderators.
Credit payout for Social Threads is 200 credits x current tier.
- Missions (Combat):
During combat missions money is earned as such:
+150 credits per enemy defeated x the tier of the specific enemy
Example with equation: You defeat two enemies, a Tier 2 and a Tier 3
(150 x 2) + (150 x 3) = 300 + 450 = 750 credits total.
Defeating a boss unit follows the same payout, but with a 50% increase. A mini boss provides a 25% increase.
If you don't care to follow the equation or have difficulty figuring it out, the mission moderator will typically include the total mission earnings per kill and tally them up after completion.
All earnings during a mission are rewarded to the group as a whole. All kills count toward total mission earning so there's no need to hog the glory trying to make bank. - Scouting/Diplomat/Treasure Seek:
Earning credits for non-combat missions uses a different function. At the start, the party begins with 100 credits x tier as their earning. For each successful action they add 200 credits x tier to this total. Failed actions subtract 150 credits x tier. The total is distributed to the party once the mission is complete. - Arena:
Arena is more simple in earning credits.
Opponents tier x 200 = Victory earnings.
The loser is awarded an amount equal to half the winning spoils. In the case of tournaments, fallen combatants are cut off from earning any further credits after defeat, meaning they only receive as many credits as earned while still standing.
In the case of a mutual forfeit, both combatants split the losing earnings.
Sparring Ring:
Same as above, but instead it's 125 Credits x the current tier.
Solo Threads

- It cannot introduce a major shift to the forum plot without explicit admin approval. Think short stories, slice of life, ect.
Note: Solo Threads do not count as missions. - It has to be at least six paragraphs long, with an average of 5 sentences per paragraph.
- It must be detailed and of (mostly) correct grammar. Sloppy or lazy writing will be counted against the thread.
- In the case of multiple entries. or chapters for a longer narrative, each entry must be in a single post.
- Most solo threads will be treated as semi-canon, only counting where story or inter-character interaction can benefit.
- Your solo thread might not be a private affair. If your post focuses on hijinks or results in a disaster, odds are some characters have heard at least part of it and are free to reference. However, more personal solos should be approached with discretion by others.
- Your characters may benefit from only one solo thread per week. You may write additional if you wish, but they will only receive credits from the first.
